About us

In Italian, Lèmme means calm, a slow movement: adagio adagio. We chose this name because, for us, true luxury is slowness: in how things are made, in the materials chosen, in the time given to each piece to become what it must be.

Made in Italy

Knitwear has been part of our family for generations: born in Tuscany, passed down through gesture rather than words.

We work with a small circle of trusted artisans who carry the same depth of knowledge.

A simple idea

Good knitwear begins with the right fibre. Chosen carefully, made slowly, produced locally.

Yarn research

Loro Piana and Cariaggi for pure cashmere: fibre combed by hand each spring from the Hircus goat, controlled from raw material to finished yarn.

Cashwool® by Zegna Baruffa for extrafine merino: under 19.5 micron, antipilling by nature, not by treatment.

Todd & Duncan for superfine lambswool: first-shearing, with a natural springiness that holds a knit's structure.

SESIA and Botto Giuseppe for mulberry silk.

IAFIL for Pima cotton and OEKO-TEX® certified cotton.

The making process

Our pieces are made in Tuscany, alongside local artisans who have passed knitwear down through generations, as it has happened in our own family factory.

We prefer a dense stitch: a loose knit gives way over time.

Some pieces are built in 3D-Knit, one piece without seams, already in their shape.

The finishing is by hand.
