The finest cashmere comes from goats living on the high plateaus of Mongolia and the Gobi.

To withstand the extreme winters, they grow a fleece made of a coarse outer hair and an exceptionally fine undercoat, carefully collected during sprig season. Only this soft, weightless fibre is spun into yarn, and its yield is scarce: enough from a single goat for just one accessory, while double or triple that amount is required to make a sweater.

The unmatched qualities of lightness, softness, and thermoregulation, along with a natural insulating power (ten times higher than that of wool) make this cashmere yarns suitable for every season.

For centuries, legendary yarn mills in Italy and Scotland have transformed this noble fibre into extraordinary yarns.
